RHLS.COM HAD A MAKEOVER.

We’re very happy to unveil RHLS.COM — Beta!  We’re updating RHLSTV with all the music videos, interviews, collab performances, rap-fashion shows and look books you love (and haven’t seen yet)!  We’ll be adding a place for you to upload your own content (editorials, interviews, photo shoots etc) about future design and manufacturing practices (or whatever), an honest place to communicate without any commercial agenda (rhls.com will always be ad free)

And I (Mackswell) will be turning our blog into a place where I share my own manifestos, and all things MOVES(ment) oriented.  Thanks for keeping up with us, see you Wednesday!

For the upcoming season we got together with some of Brooklyn’s best artists (who incidentally are sponsored by RHLS).. AND HAD THE CRAZIEST POOL PARTY OF THE FUTURE.. INSIDE A WATERMELON! Starring Alexandra Drewchin Jr. of Guardian Alien, Colin Self of SSION, Tucker Rountree of Total Slacker and Heidi Beth Ferrell of Rain Machine.  Check out the movie (by clicking the image above) and then check out these excellent artists’ music projects..  AND THE SCORE IS BY THE UNFUCKWITHABLE GDFX.. feast!

ABOUT THE CLOTHES, A BRAND KNEW CONCEPT!
Designers R. Mackswell Sherman and Sarah Jones leapt into the future delivering Water(Melon)World, a collection conceptually light years ahead of .. everything. Up until now, Sherman and Jones have been known for their geometry-heavy garments, executed pieced-work style to sort of resemble “prints.” For Spring/Summer 2013 RHLS allowed shape to move 360 degrees around the body without any background material.. A Rhombus acts as a shoulder strap on a tank top, obtuse triangle wraps under the arm to connect with Equilateral, beams shoot from equilateral across the hips to flatter and evolve the interaction of garment and form. Its a collection consisting entirely of interweaving, trellis like cut-out geometric bodies!
